About Google Things to do
With the close-out of Reserve with Google, Google came back to boost the travel industry with new “Things to do” for Tours, Activity and Attraction industry. However, “Google Things to do” is currently available for attractions only and this roll out is only on Mobile, for now. For example – Museums, National Parks, Zoos & Aquariums. As far as we know, “Things to do” will also be available for Tours & Activity by the end of this year.
How Google Things to do works?
When guests search for an attraction in google search on mobile, A business listing of attraction will appear on the Google search results. There is a [Tickets] tab of attraction listing, under that tab there is a list of links to the attraction website and OTAs along with the prices. The first link for “In-person tickets” belongs to the “Booking system website”of the operator. When guests click on the link from the listings they will be redirected to the operator’s website where guests can book the attraction.
How you can be part of it?
As ExperienceBank already have an agreement with Google Things to do, the only thing required from your end is Details Page URL and that your products and Content is in English.
- Currently “Google Things to do” only support the English language, So content has to be written in English Language.
- ExperienceBank needs Details page URL via API from your Booking System – We need your details page URL, So that google directs the guests to that URL where they can book the attractions.
In order to provide the above information please contact the Account Manager of your Booking System.
